MORITZ/ WORMSER in two lines in right field, JMS monogram at left above shoulder, large, thick-necked bust in business suit right / NEW YORK NUMISMATIC CLUB • ORGANIZED 1908 •, reverse 2: torch-bearer in Classical tunic holds a coin whose bold rays enlighten ancient civilizations. IoC p. 173 (this bronze medal referenced). Areas of toning, some hairlines on the silver medal. Otherwise, about as made. No serial number on the silver medal. Serial number 14 on the bronze medal. Two (2) medals in lot. 7 silver and 35 bronze medals were struck.
