Diademed head of Philip I right within bead-and-reel border / Zeus Nicephorus enthroned left; monogram of Antioch to lower inner left, monogram below throne, Γ (date) in exergue; all within laurel wreath. McAlee 4; Prieur 4; RPC I 4127; SC 2491.1; HGC 9, 1360a. Iridescent toning, slight porosity. VF. Very rare, only two examples known to Prieur, and one to the authors of RPC. |
