ARABIA, Northwestern. Lihyan. 2nd–1st centuries BC. Fourrée Tetradrachm (23mm, 16.65 g, 9h). Imitating Athens. Helmeted head of Athena right, with frontal eye; upward crescent on cheek / Owl standing right, head facing; olive sprig and crescent to left; all within incuse square. Cf. Huth, Athenian, fig. 5, a = Huth 39 (for full silver issue). Toned, plating rough and broken in areas, scratches and scrapes. Near VF. Rare.
