Uncertain Mint 3, probably Memphis. Struck circa 306-303 BC. Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, wearing elephant skin, aegis around neck; c/m: quadruped standing left within incuse circle / Athena Alkidemos advancing right; monogram to inner left; to right, monogram and eagle standing right on thunderbolt. CPE 89; Svoronos 139; Zervos Issue 67, dies 670/– (unlisted rev. die); SNG Copenhagen 23. Iridescent tone, short hairline flan crack; on reverse, areas of roughness, cleaning scratches, and graffiti. Good VF.
