Diademed and draped bust left, wart on forehead, wearing short beard and torque ending in sea-horse or griffin / Phraates seated right on throne, Tyche standing left before him, presenting diadem and holding cornucopia; year below throne, month in exergue. Sellwood 50.3; Sunrise –, but cf. 387 (for year); Shore –, but cf. 268 (for year); Callataÿ, pl. XIX, 2. Toned, some light smoothing on obverse. VF. Overstruck on uncertain undertype. Unusually full flan with clear month in exergue. |
