Claudius, with Agrippina Junior. AD 41-54. AR Denarius (19mm, 3.60 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck AD 51. Laureate head of Claudius right / Draped bust of Agrippina right, wearing wreath of grain ears. RIC I 81; von Kaenel Type 50 (unlisted dies); RSC 4. Deep iridescent tone, some shallow hairlines under tone, minor flan flaw and a few scratches and marks on reverse, tooling on Agrippina’s wreath. Good VF. Well centered and struck.
