Vespasian. AD 69-79. AR Denarius (17.5mm, 3.49 g, 6h). Ephesus mint. Struck AD 71. Laureate head right / Titus and Domitian, veiled and togate, standing facing, each holding patera; EPHE (PHE is ligate) in exergue. RIC II.1 1430; RPC II 832; RSC 250. Area of slightly flat strike on obverse, some faint hairlines, traces of deposits. Near EF. Wonderful details on reverse.
