Diva Faustina Senior. Died AD 140/1. AR Denarius (18mm, 3.26 g, 5h). Consecration issue. Rome mint. Struck under Antoninus Pius, circa AD 146-161. Draped bust right, wearing pearls bound on top of her head / Ceres, veiled, standing left, raising hand and holding torch. RIC III 382b (Pius) var. (veiled and draped bust); RSC 165a. Toned, a few minor scratches. Good VF.
