Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin; monogram to left / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; in left field, head left wearing Phrygian cap. Price 2558A; ADM I Series X, 99 corr. (monogram not noted; same dies). Minor die wear, a little off center and slight die shift on reverse. EF. Extremely rare, apparently the sixth known (two noted in ADM, one additional in Pella, one in CoinArchives, and one in the 1993 drachm hoard). |
