Nero. AD 54-68. Æ Dupondius (30mm, 13.52 g, 6h). Lugdunum (Lyon) mint. Struck circa AD 65. Laureate head right, globe at point of neck / Securitas seated right on throne, leaning elbow on back of throne, propping head on hand, holding scepter; lighted and garlanded altar to right; II (mark of value) in exergue. RIC I 404; WCN 499; Lyon 77. Attractive hard green patina, a couple of die breaks on reverse. VF. Rare.
