Bare head right / Zeus seated left, holding patera in his outstretched right hand and scepter in his left; to upper left, ETOVC/E (date) in two lines. Ganschow, Münzen X3; RPC I 4085; SNG von Aulock 6349. Green and red patina. Good VF.

B. Tahberer, in “A Series of Coins from an Uncertain Caesarea”, NC 175, 2015, pp. 47-55, argues that this series was likely struck at Mopsus between AD 5/6 and 50/1 during the time when the city was known as Caesarea.
