1802 Draped Bust Large Cent. No stems reverse “S-231” PCGS MS63BN. In PCGS encapsulation 06914910, graded MS63BN. Light golden brown surfaces cover both sides of this attractive coin. Obverse die crack before bust. Reverse die crack through STATES into wreath. Only three graded higher at PCGS. CC #5 in the Noyes census.

Duplicates from the Arizona Collection; Ex. Bowers and Merena's Marvin P. Matlock, M.D. Collection sale, March 1991, lot 151; Douglas F. Bird. The plate coin for the late die state of the variety in the 1991 edition of the Noyes large cent reference.
