Plautilla. Augusta, AD 202-205. AR Denarius (18.5mm, 1.79 g, 12h). Rome mint. Struck under Septimius Severus and Caracalla, AD 202. Draped bust right / PROPAGO IMPERI, Caracalla standing left, holding volumen and clasping right hands with Plautilla standing right. RIC IV 362 (Caracalla); RSC 21. Lightly toned, flan crack, crystallized metal. Good VF. As this coin does not appear to be a fourrée, the metal must be heavily crystallized to account for its light weight.
