Severus Alexander. AD 222-235. AR Denarius (19mm, 3.19 g, 12h). Rome mint, 14th emission, AD 231. Laureate bust right, with slight drapery on far shoulder / Providentia standing left, holding anchor, and grain ears over modius to left. RIC IV 252; BMCRE 813-4; RSC 508b. Good VF, lightly toned, deposits.
