EGYPT, Alexandria. Faustina Junior. Augusta, AD 147-175. Æ Obol (19mm, 4.13 g, 12h). Draped bust right / Dolphin swimming downwards, head to left. Köln –Dattari (Savio) –; K&G –; RPC –; Emmett 2028 (for type). Rough brown surfaces, pierced. Good Fine. Very rare, seemingly unpublished.

RPC only records two types with the dolphin swimming downwards, both with the head to the right, from years 18 and 19. Although the date on this coin isn’t certain, there is a clear Λ in the right field, eliminating either of those two dates.
