Augustus. 27 BC-AD 14. AR Quinarius (14mm, 1.54 g, 7h). Emerita mint; P. Carisius, legatus pro praetore. Struck circa 25-23 BC. Bare head left / Victory standing right, placing wreath on a trophy consisting of helmet and cuirass; dagger and curved sword at base of trophy. RIC I 1b; King 4; RSC 387. Toned, porous surfaces, a few scratches. Good VF.
