Napoléonic box medal. With two handwritten paper inserts, one attached. NAPOLEON I EMPER DE FRANC ET ROI D’ITALIE, Napoléon on horseback left, holding two scepters; triumphal arch to left / LA VALEUR ET LA VICTOIRE, Minerva standing left, holding spear and placing wreath on plinth already bearing two wreaths; to lower right, owl standing right, head left. Cf. Bramsen 676 (for regular medal). Crudely made into a box medal. VF. In blue case.
