EDOM (IDUMAEA). 4th century BC. AR Quarter Shekel – Drachm (12.5mm, 4.44 g, 6h). Imitating Athens. Helmeted head of Athena right / Owl standing left, head facing; olive spray to right. GTvA 7–8; cf. Hendin 1025; cf. HGC 10, 617; CNG 418, lot 360. Toned, struck from heavily worn obverse die, die break on reverse. VF. Very rare with owl left.
