IMP VESPΛS AVG P M [TRI P P P COS IIII], laureate head left / CAE DVM ET TI CAES IMP VESPAS, confronted bare heads of Domitian right and Titus left. RIC II.1 1548 (R3); Calicó 717 (same dies as illustration); BMCRE p. 106, note *; BN –; RPC II 1923; NAC 67, lot 132 (same dies; hammer CHF 80,000). Obverse struck slightly off center. VF. Extremely rare. The second known example.
