IONIA, Ephesus. Hadrian. AD 117-138. AR Cistophorus (29mm, 9.32 g, 7h). Struck AD 128-138. Bare head right / FORTVN EPHESIA, Fortuna standing left, holding rudder and cornucopia. RPC III 1336; Metcalf, Cistophori 11. Toned, short flan crack, obverse off center. Fine. Very rare reverse type, only three known to RPC, two known to Metcalf.
