ASIA MINOR, Uncertain. Vespasian. AD 69-79. Æ (21mm, 8.11 g, 12h). Judaea Capta type. Dated RY 2 (AD 69/70). Laureate head right; c/m: club; ЄTO to right, Є to left, within rectangular incuse / Nike advancing left, holding wreath in outstretched right hand, palm frond in left; ETOYC B (date) in field. Ganschow, Münzen X6 (Caesarea); RPC II 2803.10 (this coin); Sydenham Caesarea 100 (Caesarea). For c/m: Howgego –. Dark brown patina, off center. VF.

Sydenham placed this coin in Caesarea in Cappadocia, Ganschow tentatively follows suit, but the bronze coins of that city typically have the the name of the proconsul listed along with the regnal year of the emperor. This coin lacks any inscription naming the proconsul. RPC lists it as Uncertain Mint in Asia Minor which, for now, will have to do.
