SCOTLAND. David II. 1329-1371. AR Halfgroat (23mm, 2.38 g, 8h). Second coinage. Edinburgh mint. Struck 1357-1367. Crowned bust left; scepter to left; all within tressure of arches / Long cross pattée; mullet of five points voided by cinquefoil in each quarter. Grierson, Coins of Medieval Europe p. 150; Burns 1 (fig. 263); SCBI 35 (Ashmolean & Hunterian) 391 (same dies); SCBC 5105. Deep cabinet toning, slightly wavy flan. VF.
