Laureate head right / Hadrian standing left, holding volumen, about to raise Africa who is kneeling right, holding grain ears and wearing elephant skin headdress; between them, two upright stalks of grain. RIC II.3 1571; RSC 1229. Deeply toned. Near VF. Rare.
