ELECTROTYPES, LAKONIA. Lakedaimon (Sparta). Circa 206-197 BC. Electrotype “AR Tetradrachm” (29mm, 10.19 g, 12h). Derived from a British Museum electrotype. Head of Athena right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet / Herakles seated left on lion skin draped over rock, holding club set on ground; [Λ] A across field. Head, Guide, Period V.B.28 = BMC 1 and pl. II, 1 (Allaria in Crete); GPCG – . Toned. As made. Two uniface halves joined together.
