Demeter, holding torch, driving fast quadriga left; above, Nike advancing right, preparing to crown her with laurel wreath held in both hands; in exergue, grain ear lying left / Head of Athena facing slightly left, wearing ornate crested helmet and necklace; ΣYPAK-OΣIΩN and four dolphins around; bowl of helmet inscribed EVK ΛEIΔ. Head, Guide, Period III.C. 31; GPCG pl. 17, 69. Toned. As made. Rare type.
