If the mint-name on this coin is indeed Bardasir (as seems likely), it is slightly blundered. It seems that the die-engraver may have omitted the first two letters of ‘Bardasir’, possibly in the mistaken belief that these were an erroneous repetition of the final two letters of ‘al-dinar’.
