KINGS of THRACE, Macedonian. Lysimachos. 305-281 BC. AR Tetradrachm (27.5mm, 17.08 g, 12h). Pergamon mint. Struck circa 287/6-282 BC. Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon; K below / Athena Nikephoros seated left, left arm resting on shield, transverse spear in background; star to outer left, cult image to inner left. Arnold-Biucchi, Pergamene 70 (O14/R68 [erroneously listed as 65a (O12/R64) on the plate]); Thompson 227; Müller 288; HGC 3, 1750m; ANS inv. 1944.100.77563 (same dies). Attractive light toning, trace deposits, a few light cleaning scratches on reverse, a couple of minor marks on edge. Near EF. Excellent style and well centered.
