Anonymous Folles. temp. Nicephorus III, circa 1078-1081. Æ Follis (22mm, 5.51 g, 6h). Constantinople mint. Facing bust of Christ Pantokrator / Latin cross with small saltire cross at center, gobule and two pellets at each extremity; upturned crescent in upper two quarters, floral ornament in lower two quarters. DOC I; SB 1889. Dark green and brown patina, some weakness. VF.
