Diademed bust of Ptolemy I right, wearing aegis / Eagle standing left on thunderbolt; ΠB (date) in exergue. Svoronos 1100; Olivier 83 (obv. die D10) = Mørkholm, Ptolemaic 74 (obv. die A17 [Arados]) = BMC 10 (same obv. die); SNG Copenhagen –; DCA 73. Lightly toned, patches of horn silver, scattered marks, spot of roughness on reverse. Good VF. Very rare date, only one example (the BM piece) recorded by Olivier, one in CoinArchives (CNG E-391, lot 321 [same obv. die]).
