LYDIA, Saitta. temp. Caracalla-Elagabalus. AD 198-222. Æ (23mm, 6.65 g, 12h). Draped bust of Mên Aziottenus right, wearing Phrygian cap, crescent on shoulders / River-god Hyllos reclining left, holding reed and cornucopia, resting elbow on urn from which water flows. Kurth 40; Hochard 1796 (D86/R170); RPC VI Online 4426; SNG Copenhagen 396 (same dies). Black patina, minor earthen deposits, slight roughness, flan adjustment marks. VF. Rare, only four in CoinArchives.
