Claudius II Gothicus. AD 268-270. Æ Dupondius (19mm, 5.03 g, 12h). Rome mint, 2nd officina. Radiate head right / Felicitas standing left, holding long caduceus and cornucopia; –|B//–. Cf. RIC V 33 (for type; Antoninianus); cf. CNG 382, 443 (for denomination). Green-red patina, some roughness and scratches. Good Fine. A very rare denomination for Claudius II and previously unknown for this type.
