Youth on horseback right, crowning horse; Φ to right; below, youth removing stone from horse's hoof / Phalanthos, shield on arm, holding kantharos and trident, riding dolphin left; E and waves below. Head, Guide, Period III C, 7; GPCG pl. 25, 9 (for prototype). Toned. As made. Includes old collector ticket, noting purchase from Baldwin’s for price of 6/- .
