Warrior on hoeseback right, thrusting spear and holding two additional spears; horizntal T to upper left; Λ to right; below, horse, KAΛ/Δ / Phalanthos, holding crested Phrygian helmet, riding dolphin right; APE below; eight-rayed stars to left and right; TAPAΣ to left. Head, Guide, Period III C, 9; GPCG pl. 25, 10 (for prototype). Toned. As made. Includes old collector ticket, noting purchase from Baldwin’s for price of 3/6 .
